Welcome to day ten of The Twelve Boozy Days of Christmas!
Ok so I sorta just came up with the name “Green Elf” in actuality this drink is a Grasshopper BUT that didn’t really seem festive….you know? I’m writing this post quickly because I need to catch a train to NYC. So instead of rambling on and on I will just tell you that this is delicious and very minty. I think it would be great to make into a milk shake…I should try that….
Green Elf (AKA: Grasshopper):
1 oz. green creme de menthe
1 oz. white creme de cocoa
1 oz. cold heavy cream
Combine, shake and strain. Top with shaved chocolate if desired.

yum yum YUM! perfect holiday drink
Ooo la la! I bet this would go great as a dessert cocktail with my grasshopper bars!
Mint + chocolate-= fabulous together! Enjoy NY!
i’ve always wondered why it was called a grasshopper, so i submit that green elf is as good a name as any. delicious.
Yummmmm. I should be careful…my loving of booze lately might give people the wrong idea. I’ve been cooking and drinking it a bit myself lately! (shock!) ;o)
mint+ chocolate= the perfect holiday combination!
