One Year Ago: Deviled Eggs
Two Years Ago: Salted Nut Roll Bars

Soooooooooo apparently I jinxed myself. I should have never complained about the snow on Monday. Why you ask? Because it’s snowing again and this time we are supposed to get something like 10 inches. I know it’s pointless to complain about the weather but it’s just really annoying.  It’s March. I want Spring. I should probably move to Hawaii. I went there before and it was gorgeous.  And it didn’t snow. Do you think I could talk my boss into moving to Hawaii so I wouldn’t have to find another job?

Well, I guess I should probably talk to you about these brownies I made awhile back.  I used a box brownies mix (gasp) and topped it with a bunch of stuff I had I sitting in my pantry. I was trying to use up all the almost empty bags of baking items.  I topped my brownies with coconut, broken pretzels, marshmallows, caramel chips, mini M&M’s, chocolate chips, and mini Reese cups.  However, you could use whatever products are hanging out in your kitchen.

Everything Brownies:

1 Brownie Mix (and everything needed for the mix)
1/4 cup chocolate chips
1/4 cup caramel chips
1/4 cup mini M&M’s
1/4 cup broken pretzels
1/4 cup mini Reese cups (the really tiny dime size Reese cups)
1/4 cup marshmallows

Prepare brownies in an 8×8 pan according to box directions. Before baking top with everything BUT the marshmallows. Put in oven and cook following box directions. A minutes before you take the cooked brownies out of the oven sprinkle the marshmallows on top. Let them soften on the brownies for 1 minute in the oven.  Do not let them cook to much in the oven or they will get crunchy and not stay soft. Take brownies out of the oven.  Cool, cut and enjoy.

  1. But where’s the kitchen sink?!

    Hehe.

  2. Good luck with that Hawaii move! ;) Send us a postcard. LOL
The brownies are brilliant. I always have a bit of this and a bit of that. And I say there is nothing wrong using a mix sometimes. In fact, I have a brownie recipe from Pillsbury on my mind and I’m considering using their brownie mix as opposed to from scratch.

  3. I’ll take a big fat brownie…you keep the snow ;) These are evil and wonderful, Brandy.

  5. I think that if you got enough snow there, you could totally convince your boss to move. You just need to make him think it’s his idea…

These brownies look insanely amazing! I’ve heard of everything cookies but everything brownies are for sure way cooler.

  6. Move here! It’s 80 and gorgeous!

  7. Such a smart, yummy thing to do. Sometimes those boxed brownies mixes need to be used up in the pantry, too. ;) I need to dejunk my pantry.

Oh no! I have a feeling some crummy reminders of winter are headed our way too. It happens every year. Spring psychs us out for a week or two and then BAM! Blizzard. One year we had a blizzard in April!! Anyway, I’m seriously wigging out over your “caramel chips.” I had no idea there was such a thing. I must find these. I don’t know what I’d do with them, but I have to have them. LOL! Your brownies look great–I love that you included pretzels for a salty/sweet combo. My fave!
