These 12 last minute Father’s Day recipes will make any dad happy. I’m giving you appetizers, chicken wings, grilling and main course recipes – man food at it’s finest.
You know what I love most about Father’s Day? Well beside the fact that I get to honor my dad I also get to eat manly food. Listen, Mother’s Day is great and all but it’s full of dainty breakfast/brunch food and light fizzy cocktails. Not that I do not like those things (trust me, I do!) but give me a big fat juicy steak and I will be more than happy.
I put together a little list of dishes I consider manly food. Feel free to agree or disagree on my definition of “manly food” but just know this – it’s all delicious.
Appetizers are one of my favorite things in the planet. I’m one of those people who would gladly order an appetizer sampler for dinner. This collections is full of eggs, blue cheese, beer and clams. This man food at it’s finest.
Bacon Blue Cheese Deviled Eggs
I’m not even sure I can tell you how much I love chicken. I mean I can tell you but I’m just not sure I can put all that love into words…you know? These 3 recipes are my all time favorites and totally packed full of flavor.
Buttermilk Southwestern Chicken Wings
During the summer I become the grill master. I like to fire that baby up and grill our whole dinner. I love it because I think grilled food rocks but mostly because grilled food means less cleanup. That is a total win in my book. These 4 recipes can all be thrown on the grill and grilled till perfection. {Ok, the chili for the dogs still has to be made on the stovetop but it’s close enough}
Pork Tenderloin with Pineapple Salsa
Last but not least – the lobster roll is hot, the mac and cheese is covered in BBQ pork and the soft shell crab is spicy. I imagine the buffet in heaven must be like this….

There's nothing dainty about this menu, but a girl could hold out her pinky while she's eating so of those mouth watering chicken wings! Pretty sure Dad will love any and all of these recipes!

I wish my husband wasn't allergic to seafood because that soft shell crab is just calling my name! I think he might go for the pulled pork mac and cheese. Yum!
