Pineapple Mango Habanero Chicken Wings

These pineapple mango habanero chicken wings are the perfect summertime appetizer or easy dinner! They’re a delicious mix of sweet and spicy and can be made in your oven or the grill. It’s time to give in to your chicken wing cravings!

I cannot and will not ever give up on my love of all things chicken wing.

Seriously, I make them all. the. time. and the obsession does not quit.

These wings are for my friends who love a little sweetness with their heat.

Of course, you can make these wings as spicy as you want by adding more habanero hot sauce but I wanted to keep a delicate sweet vs. heat balance.

I also sprinkled my wings with granulated honey and Aleppo pepper just to add a little more flavor to the party.

I’m crazy like that.

I’m always a sucker for my favorite baked garlic buffalo wings I really think these pineapple mango habanero chicken wings might give them a run for their money.

I’m such a sucker for sticky wings and these babies are hella sticky.

But in a good way. Saying something is “hella sticky” sounds a little weird.

Sorry about that.

I know you’re all wondering what’s in the sauce and I’m here to tell you it’s only 6 humble ingredients – pineapple juice, mango nectar, red chile sauce, honey, Habanero hot sauce, and unsalted butter.

So. Freaking. Crazy. Good. Y’all.

I’m not sure where y’all came from.

I’m not even southern. I’m not even sorta southern.

I’m from Ohio.

It’s like this weird Midwest state that is not really Midwest but calls itself midwest but if you have been there you know it feels like Midwest.

That’s a lot of Midwest for one sentence but if you have been to or are from Ohio you 100% get it.

I love making my wings in the oven BUT the grill is 100% an option.

Plus, who doesn’t love firing up the grill and making some waaaaaaangs! <—- I should not type wangs. WINGS. I meant WINGS!
