This totally cheesy Canadian BLT Grilled Cheese is stuffed with cheese, arugula, tomato and Canadian bacon. It’s toasted till perfection and ready in no time!
I’m pretty sure at this point in our relationship we both understand I love cheese. When I was a little kid I used to always shrug off cheese as if it were nothing of great importance. Then I grew up and realized what a foolish kid I was. Who shrugs off cheese? Who doesn’t want to bask in all it’s cheesy goodness?
Luckily as an adult I realize my child ways were in fact, childish, and I’m now on the path to cheese heaven.
Now, this grilled cheese is not just your run-of-the-mill grilled cheese. This grilled cheese is perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner. That’s right – breakfast. It’s packed full of Jones Dairy Farm Canadian bacon, fresh tomato slices, arugula and melty cheddar cheese.
Instead of using butter for the outside of the bread I used mayonnaise. It was a little trick my grandmother taught me and it tastes ahhhhhhmazing! I know that not everyone out there is a mayo lover but I still highly recommend it. Plus it’s a nice little nod to the classic BLT.
