Frangelico Colada

This frangelico colada is a lot like your typical pina colada but with a hit of hazelnut flavored Frangelico. Totally delicious and perfect for sipping!

Well, the time has come. We are finally at the end of The Boozy Days of Summer. The past two weeks were full of roasted fruit, bitters, herbs, infused vodka and overall cocktail deliciousness. For my final drink I added a little pink umbrella. Seriously, who doesn’t love an umbrella in their drink?

I was surprised when I looked back at all the cocktails I made for the Boozy Days of Summer and realized that I barely had any frozen cocktails. What is wrong with me? Frozen cocktails and summer go hand in hand…am I right?

This is why when I teamed up with Frangelico I knew I wanted to make a nutty frozen concoction. Plus, since I normally just use Frangelico in my coffee I knew I would need to go outside my normal comfort zone. Hot coffee and 90 degree weather do not mix. So, wanna know whats in this frozen beauty? It’s a play on the classic Pina Colada and combines sweet coconut, rum and of course Frangelico. You will not believe how simple this drink is to put together!
