Hamptons Lane Review

Not sure if subscription delivery boxes are for you? This Hamptons Lane review will let you know how I felt about my first box. Spoiler alert: I loved it!

I have always had a love for getting things in the mail. Besides bills (ugh) I  get excited to open every letter, box or package that gets delivered. That is why I’m such a huge fan of the new Hamptons Lane boxes. They sent me a box to review and I LOVED all the little goodies I got. That margarita salt is totally calling my name! You know I love a good cocktail. Plus I love the idea of getting a new box each month that is themed differently. It’s like it’s your birthday once a month and you get a fun box full of goodies to celebrate.

What’s it all about?

Hamptons Lane is a subscription based service that puts together food/drink themed boxes. They might include fun food, kitchen tool and tabletop items. My review box was Southwestern Fiesta and as you can see it includes everything from taco seasoning to an authentic lava rock molcajete. Now, if you’re like me you might be wondering “what is a molcajete?” It’s that fun looking rock bowl you see in the picture. They are fantastic for making guacamole and perfect for parties!

What was all in your box?

In total there were 6 different things in my box.

Alright, how much does this cost?

Each box cost $45 BUT you get to choose what boxes you want to receive. When the new monthly box is ready you can peek and see whats inside. If you’re not a fan of what you see in the box you simply skip that month. Personally I find that to be one of the most attractive things about Hamptons Lane. I hate being stuck with stuff I don’t want so the fact that I get to pick and choose (without being penalized) really makes me happy.

Is it worth it?

For this Hamptons Lane box I went and attempted to find the cost for each product. The molcajete alone cost $30, the margarita salt cost $12, the lime juicer is $9 and the salsa around $10. So without knowing the cost for the two spices that still adds up to $61. So, if these were items you were looking to add to your kitchen then I would say it’s definitely worth it. Plus you always get the chance to skip a box if it’s theme is something that is not up your alley.

How do I sign up?

If you want to give it a try simply sign up by following this link and you will get $10 off your first box! For April the box is the Southwest Fiesta like seen in the picture above.

Disclosure: I was provided with a free box to review. All opinion are 100% my own and this post does contain some affiliate links.

For sure this is a much better package to receive than receiving :-). I love spices and that taco and fajita seasoning look great!
