These molasses bacon baked beans are packed full of sweet molasses, maple syrup, bourbon, and tons of bacon! If you’re not a fan of canned beans this recipe is going to be your new go-to bean recipe!
BACON! BEANS! BOURBON! MOLASSES!
These beans seriously make me scream squeals of happiness. They are packed full of flavor and ready in just over an hour!
Ok, that’s enough of me screaming at you in CAPS. It’s so rude. And slightly obnoxious.
But seriously people these homemade beans are ahhhhhmazing!
They remind me of my grandmother’s beans and anything that reminds me of my grandmother is 100% fantastic in my book.
I mean, I have always loved baked beans but when your throw in double bacon, bourbon, and molasses I’m happy as can be!
These molasses bacon baked beans are made right on the stovetop and finished up in the oven.
They are sweet but not so sweet it makes you feel like you’re eating dessert in side dish form. This is usually how I feel anytime I have tried store-bought baked beans.
I also added an obscene amount of bacon because when I say something is bacon-packed it’s really bacon-packed.
Plus, who doesn’t love bacon?
