Product Love by Nutmeg Nanny

It’s time for another Product Love! I know I have been severely slacking in my product love reviews but I have been in the kitchen cooking up lots of goodies so I’m hoping that makes up for it. This time around I talk about everything from coffee to booze to Alton Brown to my obsession with scary movies.

Grab a cup a coffee sit back and read about what I’m loving! Maybe you will find something new for yourself or maybe a Christmas present for a friend.

Product Love by Nutmeg Nanny
Breville Milk Cafe Milk Frother – $129

My husband has been asking for a milk frother for over a year. I will admit, I totally vetoed the idea every single time he asked. We have a tiny kitchen and there was no more room for something as fancy (and unnecessary) as a milk frother. Then his birthday rolled around and his parents finally bought his fancy little milk frother.

Well, I now use it more than he does and I LOVE it! It’s easy to clean (the top comes off) and prepares perfectly frothed milk in just minutes. Is this machine necessary? No. Is it still awesome? Yes!

Product Love by Nutmeg Nanny - More Good Soda Syrup
More Good Soda Syrup – $39.99 for a 3 pack

I first saw this soda syrup at my local grocery store and I debated buying a bottle but I ultimately passed. Then I went to a local business market and met the owner. He was so nice and even let me try every single flavor.

All the flavors are hand made and made with quality fresh ingredients. That means no weird chemicals, no HFCS and no preservatives. I bought the root beer and ginger ale flavors but I can attest to the fact that all the flavors are delicious! {I use it with my Soda Stream all the time!}

Product Love - Heinz Balsamic Vinegar Ketchup
Heinz Balsamic Vinegar Ketchup – $2.99 a bottle (estimated)

Growing up we ONLY ate Heinz ketchup. There was a Heinz factory in our town so there was really not a choice. In my house you ate Heinz or you didn’t eat ketchup. In the middle of the summer the factory would cook down the tomatoes and it made the whole town smells like a giant pot of simmering tomato sauce. So good!

So when they came out a with a limited release (which quickly became a more extensive release) balsamic vinegar ketchup I knew I needed to try it. It’s so delicious! It has a more rich flavor than traditional ketchup and I support my hometown every single time I buy it. If you look at the top of your Heinz ketcup and see a code that starts with “FR” that means it was made in Fremont, Ohio!

Product Love - Thai Coconut Milk
Thai coconut milk – $1.80 per can

There is not much to say about this coconut milk except I’m totally digging the fact that I can buy them in these tiny cans. Sometimes I don’t need to open a huge can of full fat coconut milk so I love the little can option.

Product Love - We Are Happy To Serve You Coffee Mug
We are Happy to Serve You Coffee Mug – $13 (if you’re feeling really nostalgic you can buy actual paper cups!)

Ok, how freaking adorable is this mug? It totally reminds me of the street coffee vendors in NYC. It doesn’t have handles so it can get warm BUT it’s great for a small afternoon pick-me-up and it’s an adorable mug that will have people asking you “where did you get that!” Plus it fits perfectly in stockings. (Yeah yeah I know it’s only October but it’s never too soon to pick up gifts!)

Product Love - Luxardo Maraschino Cherries
Luxardo Maraschino Cherries – $25

You know what I love? Bourbon. You know what goes great with bourbon? Really high quality maraschino cherries. These babies are the BEST and I could easily eat the whole jar but I try to be restrain myself since they are not exactly cheap. I like to add a few to my Manhattans but I have been known to steal a few from the fridge when the hubs isn’t looking…

Product Love - Found Soda Water
Found Soda Water – about $2 a bottle

I’m such a sucker for packaging and I will admit that is what sucked me the first time. I saw these cute bottles and could not pass up the opportunity to buy them. Luckily they are delicious and my packaging purchase turned into a truly liking purchase. These “sodas” comes in a few different flavors but the two I tried are Elderflower and cucumber mint. They are made with all natural ingredients and lightly sweetened with beet sugar.

They are definitely a treat for me but a little sweetness never hurt anyone.

Product Love - PB Crave Peanut Butter
PB Crave Peanut Butter – $18 for a 3 pack

PEANUT BUTTER!!! As the CAPS would suggest I love peanut butter. I was sent a few samples (which I have eaten and replaced several times) over the summer and was blown away by their flavor. The two I’m showcasing were my favorite – Razzle Dazzle and Cookie Nookie. The first flavor is a mix of raspberry flavor, white chocolate, dark chocolate and honey. Hello delicious! The second flavor is over the top amazing. It’s a combination of cookie flavoring and chocolate chips. It’s basically the peanut butter form of cookie dough. Yeah, amazing.

(You will have to stir your peanut butter upon opening but other than that it’s easy peasy!)

Product Love - Green Mountain Coffee Island Coconut
Green Mountain Coffee Island Coconut – $15 a box

Earlier this year I worked with the Green Mountain Coffee and that is where I first tried their island coconut flavor. So good. It’s like a burst of coconut flavor to your morning. If you like flavored coffee this is worth the try! Plus I use it with my Keurig Vue so I can enjoy the flavored stuff while the hubs sticks with the traditional coffee.

Product Love: Alton Brown Good East Cookbook Collection
Alton Brown Good Eats Cookbook Collection – $68 for all 3 books

Alton Brown is the best. He is so smart that it seriously blows my mind. I’m obsessed with watching old episodes of Good Eats on Netflix (please add more!) and love his cookbooks even more. This is a full collection of all the recipes he made on Good Eats. No, not the actual TV program (as in no, it’s not all the DVDs) it’s the print form of all the recipes he made on Good Eats. Which, if you’re anything like me, is totally awesome.

Product Love - Scream Movie Trilogy
Scream Movie Trilogy – $12

My obsession with scary movies continues. In case you have been wondering I have been watching the Scream movies like it’s nobody’s business. The first Scream came out when I was in high school so every time I watch it it’s like a blast from my high school past. Plus it’s slightly more humorous than scary. Am I right?

Product Love - Fire Cider
Fire Cider – $15

I first tried Fire Cider when I was in Maine over the summer. It’s super spicy and totally worth the price. However, if you’re not into paying for stuff my friend Rebecca made her own. I know this sounds weird but every single time I have horrible heartburn I take a shot of this stuff and it clears it up right away.

Disclosure: Besides being sent free peanut butter I purchased, or was gifted from a family member, these products. I’m not sponsored by any of these brands. I’m just spreading the product love.

Thanks for the Fire Cider love! I have to admit I cringe a little every time a pingback of comment comes in on that after the whole "homeopathy" controversy, so I was relieved to see it was a happy one!! ♥♥♥

That Elderflower soda?!? Where has THAT been my whole life? And do you use the ginger ale syrup with your SodaStream? Inquiring minds wanna know!
