Top posts of 2017 on Nutmeg Nanny. Everything from delicious pasta to chocolate filled dessert. You’ll love this delicious roundup!
Gah! How is almost 2018?! This year was a delicious year full of tasty goodness and I can’t wait to show you what I have in store for this upcoming year. Of course, if you have any requests you can always shoot me an email BUT I think you’re all going to love what I have planned.
Before we get a bunch of new recipes (first new one of the year coming up on January 2nd!) we’re going to dive into all the goodness that was brought to us in 2017. This is a little roundup of the top recipes of 2017.
I’m so grateful for all of you that take the time to read my blog and I love so much that you make and enjoy my recipes. I was never sure what career path would be (I’m super spastic in that way) but blogging is the first thing I have found that I really love. Yes, sometimes it’s stressful and sometimes I wonder if it’s worth it BUT deep down inside I know it’s for me. I’ve been writing Nutmeg Nanny for almost 9 years and without all my readers I wouldn’t be able to do this.
Thank you. I appreciate all of you and look forward to bringing you tons of deliciousness in 2018.
This Cajun shrimp fettuccini alfredo pasta has been on top all year long. Apparently, you guys really love creamy spicy pasta! If you haven’t given this a try yet you should get on it ASAP! It’s sooooooooo good!
I have a giant spaghetti squash sitting on my counter right now and it’s destined for this Southwest taco stuffed spaghetti squash. It’s such an easy recipe and a great way to get in a lot of vegetables.
When I crave soup I typically want something super brothy and something with a little spice and lots of lime flavor. This chicken avocado cilantro lime soup is 100% all those things!
I love using my slow cooker year round and this slow cooker honey soy sriracha pulled chicken is such an easy and filling recipe. It’s great on top of rice or piled high on a soft bun.
I have been working with Musselman’s for a few years now and the recipes I have come up with using their apple butter always go so well with you guys. This apple butter onion chicken burger is one of my personal favorite recipes and apparently one of yours too!
I LOVE a good sheet pan meal and this sheet pan garlic lemon chicken and mushrooms is soooooo good. I’ll admit it’s not the prettiest of dishes when it comes right out of the oven but after you sprinkle on that herb filled garlic sauce you got a real looker.
Again, you guys seem to love the sheet pan meals just as much as I do! This sheet pan Moroccan chicken and potatoes is a complete dish all on one sheet pan. So easy and packed full of flavor.
I made these baked supreme pizza sliders on a whim and I’m so glad I did! They taste just like pizza piled high on a soft potato roll. They are perfect for football Sunday and are to impress even the pickiest of eaters.
I LOVE grilling when the weather is warm and these sweet soy marinated grilled chicken thighs are one of my favorite summertime meals. I make them at least 2 times a month and would happily eat them every. single. week.
Last, but not least, are these peanut butter Nutella Rice Krispie treats. These babies are so full of delicious flavor and not your average krispie treat.

We have absolutely loved the Nutella Rice Krispy Treats this year. To me they are the adult version. Believe it or not we have had friends say they never had them as a kid! One friend even wanted to know how long they take to bake! Definitely not a cook. So looking forward to what you have in store for 2018. .
