This simple and easy apple pie filling coffee cake is a delicious way to use apple fruit filling. It's the perfect semi-homemade dessert or breakfast cake of your dreams!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and spray a 9x13 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
In the bowl of an electric mixer, or in a large mixing bowl, add cake mix, eggs, sour cream, milk, apple pie spice, and vanilla bean paste.
Mix on medium speed for 2 minutes either in your stand mixer or using a hand held mixer.
Add the batter to the prepared pan.
Top the batter with the apple fruit filling. Making sure to evenly distribute the fruit filling over the top of the batter.
Add to the preheated oven and bake for about 35 minutes or until the cake is fully cooked and set.
Drizzle with glaze and let cool.
For glaze:
Add all ingredients to a bowl and whisk together until smooth. If the glaze is too thick add more milk, if the glaze is too thin add more powdered sugar.
