Blackberry Gin and Tonic

You’re going to love this sweet blackberry gin and tonic…

It’s day three…how am I doing? Liking all the drinks so far? I’m just amazed it took me this long to FINALLY throw a gin based drink into the mix. If you only knew how much I love this stuff. Sometimes I go into the liquor store just to see what new gins they got in and what I can add to my wish list. I’m weird, I know.

These giant blackberries were sitting at the market and I could not pass them up. I also knew as soon as I got them home I need to do something with them asap. Berries seem to go moldy overnight on my counter. I have learned that twice this week…le sigh.

So into a drink they went with a little lime, simple syrup, gin and tonic. Really good tonic.

I was lucky enough to pair up with John from John’s Premium tonic syrup to give his true tonic a try. I’m talking real old fashioned tonic. Not that crap you buy in the store. Not the stuff that is full of high fructose corn syrup and other random flavorings. This is true on tonic. It’s simply made from organic agave nectar, cinchona bark, citric acid, natural oils, herbs, juice and spices. It’s simple and delicious.

If you want to get your hands on some of this delicious you can order some from John’s site!
