Pineapple Agua Fresca

Ingredients

  • 5-1/2 cups water
  • 5 cups diced fresh pineapple
  • 1 lime juiced
  • 1/4 cup honey

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a large blender and blend until everything is smooth.
  • If you want a smooth pulp free agua fresca, strain through a sieve or cheesecloth. If you don't mind the pulp skip to step 3.
  • Add juice to a pitcher and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

  • Use sugar in place of honey if desired.
  • Add more sweetner if desired.
  • Additions of fresh herbs like basil and mint are delicious.
