Slow Cooker Fruit Crisp

This sweet slow cooker fruit crisp is full of apples, pears, and lots of flavorful cinnamon. Ready in just 4 hours and will leave your house smelling amazing.

Ingredients

  • 6 cups peeled cored, and sliced Golden Delicious apples
  • 6 cups peeled cored, and sliced pears
  • 1 cup dried cherries
  • 1 teaspoon grated orange peel
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 teaspoon ground cinnamon divided
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup uncooked oats quick or regular
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon dried ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 3/4 cup butter softened

Instructions

  • In a large bowl add apples, pears, cherries, and orange peel. Add in sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon, mix well.
  • In another large bowl, mix together the flour, oats, brown sugar, remaining 2 teaspoons cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg.
  • Cut in butter with a pastry blender. Blend until crumbly.
  • Place fruit mixture in a greased slow cooker and top with flour mixture, patting it down slightly.
  • Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours. I used a 6-quart crockpot.
