Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and line a large baking sheet pan with parchment paper or a Silpat liner and set aside.
In a medium-sized mixing bowl add all-purpose flour, baking powder, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and kosher salt.
Whisk to combine and set aside.
In the bowl of an electric mixer or large mixing bowl, add brown sugar, oil, molasses, eggs, and vanilla extract.
Using a mixer, gently combine the wet ingredients until just combined.
Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients about a cup at a time, until well combined.
Form the dough into 1.5-inch balls, and roll in powdered sugar until completely covered.
Place the cookies onto the prepared baking sheet pan and flatten until each cookie is 2 inches in diameter.
Bake for 13-14 minutes in the preheated oven.
