For meatloaf:
- ½ cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup dried bread crumbs
- ½ cup finely diced onion
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 pounds ground beef
For meatloaf
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F and lightly grease a 9x5 loaf pan with olive oil spray.
In a large bowl, whisk together the milk and eggs. Add the bread crumbs and mix to combine.
Add the onion, garlic, parsley, salt, Italian seasoning, black pepper, paprika, and red pepper flakes. Mix to combine.
Add the ground beef and gently mix to combine. You don’t want to compact the meat or you’ll end up with a tough meatloaf.
Once combined, transfer the meat mixture to the prepared loaf pan and gently press the top into a smooth layer.
Bake the meatloaf for 30 minutes.
Spread the glaze over the meatloaf and bake for an additional 20 minutes.
Allow the meatloaf to rest in the pan for 10 minutes. Then remove it to a board and slice it into 1-inch pieces.
Serve with your desired sides and enjoy. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
