Easy BBQ Sauce
This easy BBQ sauce is the perfect blend of savory, sour, and sweet with ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, and spices.
Servings: 3 /4 cup sauce
Ingredients
- 1 small onion finely diced
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/3 cup dark brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a medium-sized saucepot add all the ingredients and stir to combine.
- Cook over medium-low heat, stirring frequently, for about 30 minutes or until the sauce has reached the desired texture and thickness.
- Let cool and store in an airtight jar for up to 2 weeks.
