- 16 ounces pumpkin puree
- 1 cup apple cider
- 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
Add all ingredients into a pot and cook on medium heat until thickened and fruit butter consistency, about 30 minutes. You want it to be spreadable but not runny.
Let the pumpkin butter cool.
Store in an air-tight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
