Summertime Sangria
This simple summer sangria is made with a delicious red wine mixed with triple sec, brandy, fresh fruit, and a little sugar. You'll love this simple summertime sipper!

- 1 (750 ml) bottle dry red wine
- ⅓ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup orange juice
- ¼ cup brandy
- ¼ cup triple sec liqueur
- 1 large red apple cored and cubed
- ½ large orange thinly sliced
- 1 whole lime thinly sliced
- ½ cup sliced strawberries
- ½ cup halved fresh cherries
- 1 liter plain seltzer water
In a pitcher combine red wine, granulated sugar, orange juice, brandy, and triple sec. Stir to combine.
Add in your apple, orange, lime, strawberries, and cherries. Stir to combine.
Place your pitcher in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to let the flavors meld, and the sugar has time to dissolve.
To serve, fill each glass with ice, fill it 2/3 of the way full with the wine mixture, and top it with seltzer water. Don't forget to eat the delicious wine soaked fruit!
