Mixed Berry Mojito

This mixed berry mojito combines delicious fresh raspberries, blackberries, mint and rum. It’s super delicious, perfect for spring and takes only 5 minutes to make!

I’m pretty sure my husband hates when I take over control of the remote control. Last night I was skimming through Netflix and realized there were a few new movies since it’s now April. Sooooooo that means I couldn’t resist watching one of the worst movies I have ever seen but loved – The Beautician and the Beast.

Poor Art. He has to listen to almost 2 hours of Fran Drescher. Honestly I love sappy movies like this. It was almost like watching The Nanny but with Timothy Dalton instead of Charles Shaughnessy. How can you not love that?

Luckily for Art I had a few of these cocktail just hanging around so that made the movie a little less horrible. This mojito combines fresh blackberries, fresh raspberries, mint, lime, rum and just a little Truvia to lightly sweeten things up. It’s the perfect spring cocktail that just screams warm weather porch sippin’.

To bad the weather won’t freaking warm up here in New York. It snowed yesterday. SNOWED! Blergh. This is how I feel about the lack of spring we are having. I cannot wait for the flowers to start blooming and the trees to look like they actually have leaves. Plus I would really like to open my windows and get some fresh air flowing up in this house. There are only so many oils you can diffuse to make your house smell fresh before you get to the point where you just actually need fresh air.

So if you’re winter disgruntled like me make sure to make this cocktail at Easter. {Or really any day of the year because it’s awesome and it uses your favorite no-calorie sweetener} Not only does it remind you of spring and summer but it’s nice and boozy so it’s the perfect drink to get you through family time. Do ya feel me?

Not sure what else to serve for Easter? Try my pineapple bourbon butter glazed ham, pork tenderloin with blackberry mint sauce or my rolled pork florentine.
