Ingredients

  • 8 ounces mascarpone cheese
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/3 cup dark cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons instant espresso powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream

Instructions

  • In a medium-sized mixing bowl add mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, dark cocoa powder, instant espresso powder, and kosher salt.
  • Using a mixer, mix the ingredients together until smooth.
  • Add in the heavy whipping cream and mix for another 2-3 minutes until fluffy.
  • Make sure to scrape down the sides at least once so the frosting gets completely blended.
  • Use on cakes, brownies, or cookies.
