Servings 8 cups Chex mix

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 4 cups Chex cereal
  • 2 cups pretzel twists
  • 1/2 cup red orange, and yellow M&Ms or Reese's Pieces
  • 1 cup candy pumpkins

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Add the melted butter, brown sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon to a large bowl and whisk until the brown sugar is dissolved.
  • Add the Chex cereal and pretzels and toss to combine.
  • Spread the mixture evenly over the parchment paper, making sure the Chex is in an even layer.
  • Bake for 10 minutes, stir the mixture and then bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  • Remove the Chex mix from the oven and allow it to cool completely. Then break it into large chunks, and add the M&Ms, Reese’s Pieces, and candy pumpkins.
  • Transfer the Chex mix to an airtight container and store it at room temperature for up to five days.
