- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 4 cups Chex cereal
- 2 cups pretzel twists
- 1/2 cup red orange, and yellow M&Ms or Reese's Pieces
- 1 cup candy pumpkins
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Add the melted butter, brown sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon to a large bowl and whisk until the brown sugar is dissolved.
Add the Chex cereal and pretzels and toss to combine.
Spread the mixture evenly over the parchment paper, making sure the Chex is in an even layer.
Bake for 10 minutes, stir the mixture and then bake for an additional 10 minutes.
Remove the Chex mix from the oven and allow it to cool completely. Then break it into large chunks, and add the M&Ms, Reese’s Pieces, and candy pumpkins.
Transfer the Chex mix to an airtight container and store it at room temperature for up to five days.
