Peach BBQ Grilled Turkey Legs

These peach bbq grilled turkey legs are the perfect summertime meat treat. Slathered with a homemade peach bbq sauce and grilled to perfection.

Ingredients

Instructions

  • In a medium-sized sauce pan add olive oil and set over medium high heat.
  • Once the oil is hot add the peaches, onion and jalapeño pepper. Sauté till the onions and peaches are soft. Remove from the heat.
  • In a blender add the peach mixture as well as the remaining ingredients minus the turkey legs. Blend until smooth.
  • Add back to the sauce pan and cook down until thickened and warmed throughout, about 10 minutes.
  • Heat your grill to medium heat.
  • Season your turkey legs with salt and pepper and add to the grill.
  • Cook for 45 minutes, rotating the turkey leg every 10 minutes.
  • Baste with the peach bbq sauce and continue grilling and basting until the turkey legs reach an internal temperature of 180 degrees F. This should take about 15-20 more minutes.
  • Full cooking time on the turkey could vary depending on size.
