These peach BBQ grilled turkey legs are the perfect summertime meat treat. They’re slathered with homemade peach BBQ sauce and grilled to perfection.

I love grilling meat, but often, turkey is overlooked!
Now, I’m not about to grill a whole turkey (which I’m sure is good, but my grill isn’t big enough), but these grilled turkey legs are perfect for any size grill!
I kept the seasonings simple but made a quick homemade peach glaze that pairs perfectly with the turkey’s rich, dark meat. I used fresh peaches in the glaze, but you can easily substitute frozen peaches if it’s not peach season.
You can also use this glaze on chicken or shrimp. Both options are delicious!

How to grill turkey legs
Grilling turkey is not hard. It just requires some patience and an instant-read thermometer. You can do it without the thermometer, but it makes the guesswork of knowing your poultry is thoroughly cooked non-existent.
After you have preheated your grill to medium heat and seasoned your turkey legs, it’s time to grill!
- Add your turkey legs to the grill and rotate them every 10 minutes. This ensures that they are equally cooked on all sides.
- You’ll cook your turkey legs for 30 minutes.
- Glaze the turkey and cook for another 15 minutes. The exact cooking time will depend on the size of your turkey legs. More giant legs mean longer cooking time, while smaller legs mean shorter cooking time.
- Serve the legs with extra peach sauce for added flavor.

I can hardly wait for grilling season here in the Midwest. Your peach BBQ turkey legs will make an early (and often) appearance on our grill.
I’m so ready for grilling season but I’m also sad because we’re in the new apartment and we can’t have a grill here! So sad. I guess I’m going to have to go to my parents house to make these Peach BBQ Grilled Turkey Legs!!!
Making this today. Is it supposed to look like applesauce/baby food while cooking the sauce?
