Whisk together baking mix, brown sugar, cornstarch, and spices in a medium bowl.
Add milk, molasses, and melted butter to dry ingredients and gently mix until just combined.
In a small bowl, whisk egg whites. Whisk until frothy, about 2 minutes.
Gently fold in egg whites to batter. Stir until just combined. Batter will be slightly lumpy.
Let the batter rest for 10 minutes whole you heat your waffle iron.
Heat the waffle iron and once fully heated, spray with nonstick cooking spray.
Add about 3/4 cup of batter per waffle to the make and cook according to manufacturer instructions for the waffle iron.
This will make about four large 7-inch waffles.
Serve with maply syrup, whipped cream, or powdered sugar.
