This easy flavor-packed tomato feta salad has sweet cherry tomatoes, feta cheese, shallots, fresh basil, lemon, olive oil, and vinegar. It is deliciously simple and great as a BBQ side dish.

- 2 pints cherry tomatoes halved
- 1 whole shallot peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
- ¼ cup chopped fresh basil
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice fresh
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest fresh
- 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
In a large mixing bowl add all ingreidents and stir to combine.
Cover and store in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours for optimal flavor.
Before serving, taste and season with more kosher salt if desired.
