Happy Valentine’s Day!!!

This Valentine’s Day I’m treating my love to a little candy treat.  He and I both love marzipan so I know this will be the perfect ending to a perfect day :)

Chocolate Covered Marzipan Hearts by Nutmeg Nanny

Chocolate Covered Marzipan Hearts

Ingredients:

Marzipan
Good Quality Milk Chocolate
White chocolate (optional)

Directions:

Roll out marzipan and cut out hearts with small heart shaped cookie cutters. You can also roll into balls or cut into squares.

Melt chocolate over a double boiler and dip the marzipan until covered in chocolate. Lay on rack to harden.

If you wish you can drizzle with white chocolate.

    Faith just did these, too – I saw them there. Great minds DO think alike. I love love love Marzipan and do make my own. It is so much more nutritious – I hope. Not FRESH almonds, but definitely NO preservatives! :)
