One Year Ago: Spicy Jambalaya

This Valentine’s Day I’m treating my love to a little candy treat. He and I both love marzipan so I know this will be the perfect ending to a perfect day

Chocolate Covered Marzipan Hearts:
Marzipan
Good Quality Milk Chocolate
Roll out marzipan and cut out hearts with small heart shaped cookie cutters. You can also roll into balls or cut into squares.
Melt chocolate over a double boiler and dip the marzipan until covered in chocolate. Lay on rack to harden.
If you wish you can drizzle with white chocolate.

Faith just did these, too – I saw them there. Great minds DO think alike. I love love love Marzipan and do make my own. It is so much more nutritious – I hope. Not FRESH almonds, but definitely NO preservatives!
