Ginger Spiked Apple Cider
Here in New York it’s not hard to find a tasty gallon of fresh pressed apple cider. I love it’s freshness and it’s a million times better tasting then apple juice…in my opinion. However, how do you take something perfect and make it better? Give it a little splash of dark spiced rum…oh yes!
This drink is perfect for sipping at a party or even while sitting at home wrapping presents. That’s right. Wrapping presents is not the same if you don’t have a little drink to keep you company. Trust me on this one. Drinking makes it’s a million times better. Cheers!!!
Ginger Spiked Apple Cider
Yield: 1 drink
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
4 ounces fresh apple cider
2 ounces ginger liqueur
Dark rum
Directions:
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add apple cider and ginger liqueur. Shake and pour into short cocktail glass.
Top with a splash of dark rum and an optional apple slice.

I’m not a huge fan of apple juice but cider is a whole other thing! It’s just so good. But you’re right – even better with some alcohol!
Hi All,
This recipe looks devine. I priced ginger liqueur with the LCBO and it is frightfully expensive. I may have to opt of ginger syrup as an option and sip it alcohol free. Sure will be tasty.
Merry Christmas, All.
