This chicken tandoori burger is packed full of spices and fresh chopped herbs. It’s piled high with fresh cilantro, cucumber, grilled onions, and Greek yogurt sauce.

I know I’ve been giving you guys tons of different burgers lately, but I can’t help it! It’s burger season, and I’m 100% taking advantage of the weather to grill out and eat all the burgers with all the toppings.
I made this burger with ground chicken because it’s one of my favorite meats to turn into a burger. It can take a lot of flavors and always turns out juicy.
Plus, it’s a nice twist to the average all-American beef burger.
The burger patty is always packed with spices and fresh herbs because I cannot make burgers without including tons of flavor.
This is sometimes where Art and I disagree. I’m all, “Can we chop up everything in the fridge and put it into the burger?!” he is more, “Let’s just season it with salt and pepper so we can taste the meat.”
Don’t get me wrong, sometimes that’s nice, BUT most of the time, I want FLAVOR, and I’m not ashamed to admit it!

I also have a thing for burgers that need toppings. Please never hand me a plain burger; I will weep in sadness.
Burgers are like a canvas just waiting to be covered with everything. Sometimes, those things are fried eggs or avocados, and sometimes, those things are crunchy cucumbers, sauteed red onions, cilantro, and Greek yogurt sauce.
When I have a burger, I want the bun to hold up to my toppings. I don’t want some bun that’s too small and can’t handle my big fat patties with all the fixings.
Luckily for me, this year, I found the perfect bun: Pepperidge Farm® Farmhouse Hearty Buns. These babies are big enough to hold your extra large (or regular size if you’re me) burger patty PLUS every topping imaginable.

Now, if you’re wondering, “What’s in this chicken tandoori burger?” I’m about to tell you!
It has cilantro, mint, garam masala, and crushed red pepper. It’s not too spicy, but the heat can be adjusted to match your desired taste.
This burger is a burst of Indian flavor between 2 soft buns.
To round it all out, I served it with a homemade Greek yogurt sauce that combined yogurt, lime, chopped cilantro, and garam masala. This burger is unique but is still a total crowd-pleaser.
