This post is sponsored by Toufayan. As always all opinions are 100% my own.

The snacking season is here. The weather is cold, the days are getting shorter and I’m putting all my tank tops away. That means I don’t have to show off my arms and instead of worrying about how fly I look I can instead focus on how many carbs I can eat before summer shows back up again. I have my priorities in CHECK! BUT you know what else is in check? THIS DIP! Well, I’m not really sure if a dip can be “on check” but it is. Maybe I should say the dip is on fleek. Yes, on fleek. Wait, are people still saying “On fleek?”

Sigh, I’m too old to go around trying to sound like I get the youth of America and their ever changing lingo.

Noooooow when you make a dip like this you need something for dipping. Something crazy delicious and perfect for ALL party guests! That’s why I used these crazy delicious gluten free sea salt pita chips from Toufayan. They are also scoopable which means you can LOAD up your chips with all. the. dip. Oh and these chips aren’t just gluten free they are also vegan, non-GMO, oven baked and are all natural, with no cholesterol or trans-fats. How is that for delicious?

Want to know something else I love about these chips? The company! I had the pleasure of meeting the family a month ago and sitting at their conference room table felt like sitting together at the family dinner table. They were kind, funny, sarcastic and 100% my kind of people. I learned all about their 90-year-old family owned company, ate fresh bread RIGHT OUT OF THE OVEN (this deserves an all CAP because sweet baby J it was delicious!) and learned all about how they still oversee all the activities in their business. Not only is this family awesome their products are awesome.

This baby is packed full of spinach, crispy bacon, cheese (so. much. cheese.) and just a touch of garlic. This dip was made for football season. This dip was made for parties. This dip was made for dinner when you’re super tired and just don’t feel like cooking.

Baked Spinach Bacon Dip

This baked spinach bacon dip is the perfect party snack. Packed full of spinach, crispy bacon, cream cheese, sharp cheddar cheese and green onions. This dip is so easy you'll want to make it every single weekend! PLUS it's ready in just 30 minutes!

Yield: 6 appetizer servings

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 25 minutes

Total Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 6 slices thick cut bacon, cut short ways
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided
  • 2 cups chopped frozen spinach, defrosted and water squeezed out of the spinach
  • 1/3 cup sliced green onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, grated
  • Kosher salt and pepper, to taste

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees and spray an 8x8 baking dish with non-stick spray.

Add you bacon to a small skillet and cook until crispy, drain and set aside.

In a bowl of an electric mixer add cream cheese, sour cream and 1 cup of the shredded cheese. Mix until combined. Add in most of the bacon (saving a little for the top), spinach and most of the green onion (saving a little for the top), garlic and mix until combined. Season with kosher salt and pepper if desired.

Add the mixture to the prepared baking dish and cover the top with the remaining cheese.

Bake for about 20 minutes or until the cheese is browned on the top and the dip is hot. Sprinkle the saved bacon and green onions on the top and serve with pita chips.

    This dip looks absolutely incredible!

And yes, on fleek is still used – especially by parents who like to see their teens cringe.

I’m with Heather and thinking would it be wrong if I had this for dinner? Or even in a little bit for lunch? Love this dip, Brandy!
