One of my favorite sandwiches, hands down, is the BLT. Seriously – it cannot be beat.

Salty bacon, crunchy lettuce, and juicy tomatoes—yes, please! This is the perfect combination when paired with soft, squishy Hawaiian rolls. The sweetness of the buns and the saltiness of the bacon are a match made in heaven.

I like to make these for lunch on the weekends and then eat the leftovers as dinner—a multiple-course meal. However, these are also awesome for parties, BBQs, and potlucks.

If you have followed this blog for a while, you’ll know that I love these little mini sandwich sliders. In the past, I’ve made Baked Ham and Cheese Party Sandwiches with Apple Butter, Baked Bacon Cheeseburger Sliders, and my ultimate favorite Baked Supreme Pizza Sliders.

There is nothing you can’t turn into a slider.

If you can’t find (or don’t like) Hawaiian rolls, you can use plain slider buns in place. But I think the Hawaiian rolls are the best combination.

How to make BLT sliders

Do you know my favorite reason for making these sliders? They are so incredibly easy. All you need to do is make some crispy bacon and layer it on Hawaiian rolls with lettuce and tomato.

Talk about easy! Great for parties, family gatherings, or just a lazy day dinner.

  1. Cook your bacon in your preferred method. My favorites are baked in the oven or air-fried.
  2. Cut open the rolls and slather each side with mayonnaise.
  3. Top the bottom half with cooked bacon, lettuce, and tomatoes.
  4. Cover with the top buns and cut into 12 sliders.

My Pro Tips

Recipe Tips for making BLT sliders

  • Use the Hawaiian rolls for the best flavor! The buns are soft and squishy, and they are slightly sweet, which balances the saltiness of the bacon.
  • I used green leaf lettuce, which is excellent for this recipe, but feel free to use whatever lettuce you like – iceberg, romaine, arugula, or even mixed greens.
  • If you’re not a fan of mayonnaise, you can leave it off or substitute it with Greek yogurt, ranch dressing, or Miracle Whip.
  • Turkey or beef bacon can also be used in place of pork bacon.

FAQ’s

They last for 2-3 days when stored in the refrigerator.

No. It will not defrost well, as the lettuce and tomatoes will wilt and become watery.

Leftover sandwiches can be stored in an airtight container.
