Welcome to Nutmeg Nanny! In case you are wondering, my real name is not nanny or nutmeg, it’s Brandy.  I am a 30-something freelance food writer, recipe developer and nanny. I lead a busy life!

I live in the Hudson Valley Region of New York (about an 1.5 hours away from NYC) with my amazing husband Arthur and our two cats, Jolie and Nermal.

I started Nutmeg Nanny to share my love for all things culinary.  Hopefully I will inspire you to get into the kitchen!
