Delicious chocolate drizzled pecan pie bites baked inside phyllo cups. The perfect size sweet treat after your filling Thanksgiving meal…

Confession time. I don’t really like pecan pie. It’s sweet and gloppy and just too much…everything. Now, I’m sure you are all wondering why I made a pecan pie bite recipe. Well, here is the thing. I think these are a million times better. They are bite size (proven fact bite size food always tastes better) and not overly sweet. The nuts are simply glazed in sweetness instead of laying on top of a thick sweet layer.

Oh and I’m sorta obsessed with these little phyllo cups. They bring a nice crunchy texture to the pie bites, more than any pie crust can bring to the party. Plus the chocolate drizzle just makes it even better. Anything drizzled in chocolate is delicious….am I right?

The sad news for the day is that today marks the end of Pie Week. I had such a delicious week sharing my pies and my fellow bloggers pies. It was a delicious week but sadly all good things must come to an end. Don’t worry though. I have lots more deliciousness coming your way 🙂

  1. These chocolate drizzle pecan pie bites looked soooo good, I had to try and make them. I used your suggestion and used 3/4 cup chopped toasted pecans.
