If you read the title of this post and thought to yourself “that sounds really tasty” let me assure you that you are correct. They really are tasty !
The original recipe didn’t call for peppermint extract in the dough but I decided since I love mint it would be perfect. The chips I used were a limited edition from Nestle. If you see these delicious dark chocolate and mint chips I highly recommend picking up a bag. I only wish I would have bought more than one. I went to the store today and they didn’t have any left….boo.
Honestly the store seemed to be sold out of almost everything. I went to buy a bag of Christmas themed M&M’s and they were sold out of those too. I asked the guy who works at the store and he says “oh yeah those flew off the shelf this year.” It makes me wonder who are all these people buying M&M’s and what do they need them for? I only ask because it annoys me they bought all of them before I got a bag.
Well ladies and gentleman I apologize for this short post but I have a lot of Christmas baking to do and it’s not going to get done unless I get my lazy butt into the kitchen and make it.
