These chocolate peanut butter no bake cookies are the perfect summer treat. No need to heat up your oven and you get the delicious flavor of peanut butter and chocolate.

So I think (fingers crossed) Spring is finally here. The weather was gorgeous today. I opened all the windows, lit my new fruity summer Yankee Candles and smiled 🙂 I knew I had to post something today but had nothing planned or in reserves…whoops. I was going to post yesterday but the Irish Soda Bread I made was horrible. Horrible!!! I swear. It was the most vile thing I ever tasted. Not sure what I did wrong but next time I’m going to go with a different recipe. Now back to this Spring day. I wasn’t going to ruin it by slaving away in the kitchen all day so I decided to make a childhood favorite….no-bake cookies. What is not to love about these little gems? They have an almost fudgy texture and are held together by delicious oats…yum! Enjoy!!!

I love this cookie – and what a cool looking cat!
These have been a family favorite since I was in Brownies! My mom always made them on our birthdays too! Sooooo good!
Ahhh that’s a shame about your soda bread. I didn’t get any made or even get to taste any. I love these cookies!!
Sweet!!! A no bake cookie just for me. hehehehe… I like it.
These look so yummy! I bet they would be great to make with the kids. No worries about the oven and instant satisfaction cuz kids don’t like to wait.. heck I don’t like to wait! lol 🙂
I forgot about how much I love no bake cookies!! thank you for this great reminder! Great photos here too
This is almost the exact recipe I make. Instead of cocoa powder I use 1 cup of chocolate chips. When you pour the hot liquid over them they melt along with the peanut butter. I’ve made a lot of different cookies and this is my favorite.
Excellent cookies – I love that you don’t have to bake them!
No bake cookies are always a plus in my book, and these look delicious!
and with the semi warm weather right now, who wants to heat the house with an oven anyway? These are perfect!
