These chocolate peanut butter no bake cookies are the perfect summer treat. No need to heat up your oven and you get the delicious flavor of peanut butter and chocolate.

So I think (fingers crossed) Spring is finally here. The weather was gorgeous today. I opened all the windows, lit my new fruity summer Yankee Candles and smiled 🙂 I knew I had to post something today but had nothing planned or in reserves…whoops. I was going to post yesterday but the Irish Soda Bread I made was horrible. Horrible!!! I swear. It was the most vile thing I ever tasted. Not sure what I did wrong but next time I’m going to go with a different recipe. Now back to this Spring day. I wasn’t going to ruin it by slaving away in the kitchen all day so I decided to make a childhood favorite….no-bake cookies. What is not to love about these little gems? They have an almost fudgy texture and are held together by delicious oats…yum! Enjoy!!!

Yum this looks so good!
Your cat is beautiful, and so are these cookies! No-bake cookies sound like the perfect thing to make this weekend. 🙂
I am so sorry your Soda Bread didn’t turn out. I had great success last week.
Your cookies look delicious! I make similar no bake chocolate cookies but instead of peanut butter it is coconut!
i was JUST ruing the fact that i had never known anyone to name their cat nermal–good for you! man, i loved that garfield cartoon.
great cookies, by the way. 🙂
My husband and boys love these cookies! I’m glad you included how long to boil, believe it or not, my recipe never said how long to boil, and it never fails that I boil too long, then they’re dry.
Thanks for sharing!
Your kitty is gorgeous! I agree!

Congrats on getting your photo onto Foodgawker! Now you’re sitting at the cool table–lol. I love these cookies and use the same recipe but I use a whole 1/2 cup of cocoa powder–try it–very awesome! And yes, your kitty is gorgeous!
Cute cat and yummy cookies! I love the no bake aspect. These will be great in the summertime when I won’t want the oven on. I bet ice cream in between two of these cookies would be great!
I’ve been wanting to try some no-bake cookie recipes. These look yummy! Nermal is gorgeous!
We loved theses as kid, and we had a name for them that I won’t print. Cute pic of your cat.
