Toast to the holidays with this creamy eggnog martini. It combines delicious eggnog, vanilla vodka, amaretto, and a sprinkle of nutmeg. You’ll love this tasty winter cocktail!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
It’s time for a little cocktail to bring you a little (or a lot) of holiday spirit.
As you all know, I’m a HUGE fan of all things eggnog, especially if that eggnog is aged eggnog and or used in this eggnog martini.
Yeah, I’m a huge fan.
Plus, I feel Christmas isn’t Christmas without eggnog.
I grew up looking forward to the “nog” yearly because it’s a strict seasonal drink. You can’t very well be drinking eggnog in July.
I don’t think you could even find eggnog in July if you tried.
You could make it, but I can’t imagine drinking a big glass of nog and hopping in the pool.

Eggnog Martini Ingredients:
- Eggnog – Since this is the bulk of our cocktail, use your favorite non-alcoholic eggnog. Feel free to use any dairy-free options in the store if you’re dairy-free.
- Vanilla vodka – This vodka has been infused with vanilla beans. It can be easily found in most large liquor stores.
- Amaretto – This is a sweet almond-flavored liqueur. A popular brand of amaretto is Disaronno.
Making an eggnog martini
This eggnog cocktail is one of the easiest to make!
All you need is eggnog, vanilla-flavored vodka, and amaretto.
Add everything to a cocktail shaker with ice, shake it, pour it into a glass, and enjoy!

What is eggnog?
Eggnog is a traditional milk punch made out of eggs, milk, sugar, and typically spices such as nutmeg and cinnamon.
Traditionally, eggnog was made with raw eggs, but it’s more common now to use pasteurized eggs. You can also cook the eggnog, so you do not have to worry about issues with consuming raw eggs.
Where can I find eggnog?
In the United States, around Christmastime, you can find eggnog very easily in almost any grocery store.
In fact, it’s so common that there are at least seven different options in my grocery store, ranging from vanilla-flavored eggnog to rum-flavored eggnog to dairy-free eggnog.

Changing this recipe
You could easily make a few changes to this recipe and still keep it delicious!
Instead of vanilla vodka, you could use caramel vodka, cinnamon vodka, or plain vodka.
Doubling this cocktail
While this recipe is written to make only one cocktail, it can easily be doubled to make two or more cocktails.
Can I premake this eggnog martini?
Yes, but there might be some settling, so you’ll want to shake or stir it before serving.

I’m always a bit wary of sweet martinis because I always want them to be SWEET (like a milkshake) and they never are. But with the amaretto…I’d definitely love this!
These look amazing! I can’t wait to go home for Christmas and try them with my family… (the Spaniards don’t like eggnog very much!) Happy holidays and greetings from Spain!
