This strawberry milk latte is the perfect summertime caffeine boost. It combines sweet strawberry milk topped with a shot of espresso and served over ice.

I recently splurged and got a Nespresso machine. I’m so excited to get up every morning and make my coffee. I’m now one of those adults who wakes up and immediately makes her coffee. I feel like I’ve finally grown up.
But now that I’m into making my fancy coffee at home, I can’t go any longer without sharing my new favorite with you – a strawberry latte! Well, strawberry milk latte. I think that sounds catchier.
The strawberry milk is sweet and pairs lovely with a medium roast espresso.
If I had had some whipped cream, I might have put a dollop on top. Sadly, I was out.
For the syrup, I used my homemade strawberry syrup (leave out the basil!), but you could easily use whatever strawberry syrup you can find at the store. Or, to go real old school, use strawberry milk powder!
Anyway, if you’re looking to jazz up your summer coffee, this is the recipe for you. Plus, it’s pretty, which I’m a massive fan of, aesthetically speaking. It also reminds me of my Homemade Starbucks Pink Drink.

Ingredients needed
- Milk
- Strawberry syrup
- Brewed espresso
- Ice
How to make a strawberry latte
The best part about this coffee drink is that it only requires three ingredients and about three minutes to prepare.
- In a 12-16 ounce glass, add milk and strawberry syrup. Stir to combine.
- Fill the glass with ice.
- Brew your espresso and pour over the milk.
- Stir to combine and enjoy.

My Pro Tips
Recipe Tips
- Make life easier by using store-bought strawberry milk. Then, you won’t have to keep any strawberry syrup on hand.
- One shot of espresso is about one fluid ounce. Make this a double shot if you want an extra caffeine boost.
- Make my homemade strawberry simple syrup, but leave out the basil for a fully homemade experience.
- For strawberry syrup, you can opt to buy a classic strawberry syrup or try a fancier strawberry syrup.
- For a dreamy treat, top your strawberry milk latte with whipped cream or cold foam.
- Let the espresso cool slightly so it doesn’t just melt the ice in the drink.

Adaptations and Substitutions
- Make this dairy-free by using your favorite non-dairy milk. Also, if you use strawberry milk powder, confirm it’s dairy-free.
- Turn this into a hot latte by lightly steaming mixed strawberry milk and adding a hot shot of espresso.
- Use strong brewed, cooled coffee or cold brew instead of espresso. Adjust the coffee-to-milk ratio based on personal preference.
- Make the strawberry milk richer and creamier by using half and half or heavy cream.
- Make it sweeter by adding cane sugar sweetener.
