In case you’re living under a rock you now know that Gilmore Girls is on Netflix. I never watched it when it was on tv so I’m super pumped to zone out and binge watch the whole show in 2 weeks.
So far I get that the ladies like to talk really fast, drink a lot of coffee and have the weirdest mom/daughter relationship in this history of ever. I feel like they have that they relationship that every mom wants to have with their daughter but in real life when you have that relationship with your daughter they walk all over you and give you attitude for just asking how their day went. Plus, what happened to the whole being a mom not a best friend thing?
Long rant short – I like the show but still think moms should be moms not BFF’s.

Oh and one more thing about Gilmore Girls. I had no idea Melissa McCarthy was in this show! It was like a gift from the Gods when I turned on the show and saw her smiling face.
Now onto the shrub. I have been slowly starting to really enjoy vinegar. It has such a great flavor that I’m happy to drink the stuff straight or in a tasty cocktail. I have made a shrub cocktail before have never made my own shrub before. This version is made with apple and is perfect for any and all fall cocktails.
This post just gives you the shrub recipes BUT be on the lookout because next week I’m giving you a cocktail using the stuff.

A great idea for using all the apples from apple picking, we always pick too much!
I’m going apple picking tomorrow so I’ll be sure to try making this! Sounds deelish!
I LOVE the Gilmore Girls! My mom and I actually have and have always had more of a BFF relationship but she would play the mom card when I needed it! We used to watch this together all the time! And this shrub looks perfect for fall!
I am totally loving shrubs, and hadn’t thought of an apple one. YAY, so happy you did. Bet it would be great with a little whiskey!
Very interesting! I’ve never made a shrub before and now I’m excited to try it for myself.
I’m familiar with Gilmore Girls, but it never really struck my fancy. This recipe on the other hand, has my attention!
What a great way to use up apples! We just picked 25+ lbs last weekend and I’m running out of ideas for them.
Apple shrubs + Gilmore girls binge = totally appropriate.
i’ve never heard of this but it’s delightful!

This sounds so good, I love apple cider vinegar and have a little with every meal.
