This quick and easy homemade vanilla chai creamer is the perfect addition to your coffee. You won’t believe how easy it is to make your own coffee creamer!

I do not go a day without sipping on an iced coffee. Even in the middle of the winter I enjoy a nice cold cup of coffee. Five out of the seven days I normally drink coffee too late and then can’t sleep.
Please tell me I’m not alone. There has to be another “I drank coffee too late and now I can’t sleep” person out there…right?

Now that we have established I’m obsessed with coffee I should note that I’m also obsessed with flavored creamer. However, I hate the store bought stuff. It’s always too sweet and the flavors are a bit out of control. I’m a simple girl who likes simple flavors. This quick and easy homemade creamer is packed full of chai flavor and has just a touch of vanilla bean. It going to blow your mind when you see how easy it is to make this stuff!

Homemade Chai Vanilla Creamer
This quick and easy homemade vanilla chai creamer is the perfect addition to your coffee. You won't believe how easy it is to make your own coffee creamer!
Yield: 1-1/2 cup creamer
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Total Time: 25 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1-1/2 cup half and half
- 5 spicy chai tea bags
- 2 teaspoons vanilla bean paste (or extract)
- 2 teaspoons agave syrup (optional)
Directions:
In a small pot add half and half and let warm over low heat. Do not let your half and half boil. We are just warming the mixture.
Take it off the heat, add in tea bags and cover the pot. Let the mixture steep for at least 15 minutes.
Remove tea bags from the half and half mixture and stir in vanilla bean paste and optional agave syrup.
Store in the refrigerator for up to a week. I like to keep mine in a glass jar and give it a good shake before you use it.
* I was provided a free Keurig machine and a package of K-Cups for this review and giveaway. As always, all opinions are 100% my own.

You are NOT alone! I drink coffee (or tea) WAY too late and then stay up forever. Dang getting older.
This creamer looks amazing– I’m already planning my grocery store trip for the ingredients this evening. Thanks for the recipe! 🙂
I love flavored creamers also but do NOT love their looooonnnnggg ingredient list! Totally infusing my next batch of coffee with this chai creamer!
YUM! Um…I drink coffee way too much, all day long 😉
I work second shift, and sometimes have my last cup at 10 or 11 at night…which never work out well for me. I love flavored creamers and this one looks like a great one to put in my rotation with my pumpkin spice creamer!
Love this Brandy! I would enter the giveaway but I already have two keurigs, haha!!
I am also an Iced Coffee drinker. Unlike most people I have no problem drinking coffee late. I can drink hot coffee in the morning, iced coffee in the afternoon, and hot coffee after dinner. This creamer sounds wonderful, I just need to buy some half and half.
I pinned this before I even read the post b/c it’s SUCH an awesome idea! 🙂
I love chai.
And I love flavored creamers! I could probably just drink the creamer : )
I have an iced coffee post later this week, actually!
Great giveaway, too!
I love that you used tea bags to make coffee creamer! I love any and all things Chai! Sadly I can’t drink coffee. . . I’ll just drink the creamer! Haha. Please don’t enter me – I have a different brand that sadly sits unused.
I love New Orleans Iced Coffee! I am looking forward to trying this creamer!
Would love to win this awesome machine! Thanks for including me!
