This delicious mango margarita boozesicle takes your favorite cocktail and turn it into a boozy summertime treat. Hello boozesicles!

Today is the kick off to Frozen Treat Week! I’m so excited to be planning this event with Katie and to have so many lovely bloggers joining in on the fun. To start the week I’m bringing you a tasty mango margarita boozesicle. You all know I love a good cocktail so I had to include a little booze in at least one of my frozen treats.
I couldn’t find my “real” ice pop mold so I ended up using a few small waxed paper cups and some paper straws for my boozesicles. It worked out great and I like the color it brought to the treats.
We are also giving away a few awesome prizes this week and to kick it off we have 2 fun giveaways! The first giveaway is from Zoku and you’re going to love it! You can win a Zoku quick pop maker, Zoku social media kit
, 2 slushie makers and a copy of the Zoku Art of the Slush recipe book! These Zoku products take making ice pops and slushies to a completely new level. Fast and convenient and totally delicious. I really need some of their products for my kitchen. I’m a sucker for a good slushie.
The second prize we are giving away is from OXO. This is a fun prize pack that is perfect for storing and making almost any delicious frozen treat. You get the chance to win a large bamboo cutting board, ice cream scoop
, insulated bottle
, citrus squeezer
, locktop container (perfect for storing homemade ice cream!) and a 9-piece nesting bowl and colander set
. I love OXO and my kitchen is almost decked out completely in their products. If you have never used their products before you need to enter this giveaway. You’re going to fall in love!
This week is not only going to be delicious but it’s going to be full of giveaways too. Hope you love it as much as I do!

Mango Margarita Boozesicles
These delicious mango margarita boozesicles take your favorite cocktail and turn it into a boozy summertime treat. Hello boozesicles!
Yield: 4 boozesicles
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 6 hours
Total Time: 5 minutesplus freeze time
Ingredients:
- 2-1/2 cups fresh cubed mango
- 1/4 cup fresh squeezed lime juice
- 2 tablespoons tequila
- 1 tablespoon triple sec liqueur
- Pinch of kosher salt
- 1-2 tablespoons sugar (optional depending on mango sweetness level)
Directions:
In a blender add all ingredients and puree till smooth.
Add to popsicle molds or waxed paper cup (small Dixie cups, it's what I used) and add in wooden ice pop sticks. The mixture is thick so they should stay place in the middle. If they don't you can put a small piece of foil over the cup and put the stick through the foil into the boozesicle. The foil will hold the stick in place.
Add to freezer and freeze overnight or at least 4-6 hours until hard.
Note: If you don't have ice pop wooden sticks you can also use waxed paper straws, (what I used in the pictures) wooden bamboo skewers or even toothpicks for small baby boozesicles.

Seriously, these just scream summer! And how did I know you’d do something boozy? 😉
I’m such a lush 🙂
The color of these popsicles is so bright and vibrant, I love it!! And I’m always game for anything mango-flavored 🙂
What a fun giveaway! And such a fabulous treat. Yum!
The fact that I can’t have these is just cruel. Of all the cocktails in the land- a mango margarita is by far by favorite. I may need to make a batch of these to enjoy the first chance I get. (I know I could just leave the booze out but that just seems wrong.)
Thanks for organizing this wonderful week of Frozen goodness! I can’t wait to see what’s in store the rest of the week!
You temptress, you! Those look so tasty. The flavours are right in my wheelhouse!!
I have heard great things about the Zoku pop maker! Can’t wait to see all the goodies this week! Love the frozen treat week graphic.
You had me at boozeicles! I need this for lunch – after all, it’s the only cure the case of the Mondays, right?
A Boozesicle? Yes please!!!
Yum! These sound amazing–all for the boozesicle! 🙂 Thanks for being the best co-host ever!!! 🙂
I love using mango in frozen treats – it makes such a super creamy consistency. These look amazing! Thanks so much for organizing this event – you and Katie did an awesome job!!
