BACON! BEANS! BOURBON! MOLASSES!

These beans seriously make me scream squeals of happiness. They are packed full of flavor and ready in just over an hour!

Ok, that’s enough of me screaming at you in CAPS. It’s so rude. And slightly obnoxious.

But seriously people these homemade beans are ahhhhhmazing!

They remind me of my grandmother’s beans and anything that reminds me of my grandmother is 100% fantastic in my book.

I mean, I have always loved baked beans but when your throw in double bacon, bourbon, and molasses I’m happy as can be!

These molasses bacon baked beans are made right on the stovetop and finished up in the oven.

They are sweet but not so sweet it makes you feel like you’re eating dessert in side dish form. This is usually how I feel anytime I have tried store-bought baked beans.

I also added an obscene amount of bacon because when I say something is bacon-packed it’s really bacon-packed.

Plus, who doesn’t love bacon?

  1. First of all, JEALOUS! What a great opportunity to work with such a great company! And second, BACON! Yeah, you had me at bacon. This looks absolutely delicious. I’m sold!

  2. Oh my gosh, I feel your pain. My pans -never- last. It’s a never ending cycle of trying and tossing pans. And I am more of a baker than cook, and still this happens. I will need to look into American Kitchen Cookware! And test them out with these beans, of course!

  3. I love baked beans! And homemade ones are the best because you can add extra PORK! I love that you’ve used BACON!

  4. Dessert in side dish form sounds pretty darn good! Love the bourbon in these, too! Mmm! Congrats on your latest partnership!

  5. I would eat these beans in a heartbeat great combination and bacon makes everything better =)

  6. I love baked beans. We used to eat them all the time when we went camping. Such great memories of those times. I can just imagine the flavour in these, plus your presentation is fabulous.

  7. What an awesome opportunity!! So happy for you. I agree that good Pans are hard to come by. I love the look and sound of these beans. That molasses and maple syrup!!

  8. Oh my gosh, baked beans are one of my favorite things, especially when they are made with maple syrup and bourbon. These look so good.
