This peach mint bourbon sweet tea is the perfect summertime sipper. Slightly sweet, full of fresh peach flavor and spiked with just a splash of bourbon.

Warm weather always mean porch sitting and tea drinking. While the weather is still not completely spring worthy it is finally 60 degrees today. You know what that means? Windows open and sweet fruit candle scents will be burning! Since I can never pass up a seasonal and delicious cocktail I decided this peachy goodness had to be made. It’s such a simple recipe and it could easily be changed to throw in any fruit you love – strawberries, nectarines, raspberries, etc. If you wanted to keep it virgin you could leave out the bourbon but that would just be a sad.
The cocktail adds in a little fresh brewed sweet tea which is one of my favorite ways to enjoy to tea. Now, I don’t make my sweet tea very sweet. It’s just slightly sweet. So if you’re a true Southerner you would probably hate what I consider sweet tea. It’s not that make your teeth hurt sweet, it’s more just a hint of sweet tea.

I have also been known to make up a few batches of sun tea as well. I know there are a lot of studies that talk about sun tea not being safe but I still love it. But, what happens when the sun isn’t coming out and I’m too tired to brew up a batch of tea? Well, I go out and test a few of the teas I can find in the store. Normally I’m not a giant fan of bottled tea because it’s still full of weird chemicals and usually has a weird aftertaste. Don’t even get me started on the weird tea that comes from a can.
I was lucky enough to sample some Pure Leaf Iced Tea and I’m happy to report it’s delicious. No weird chemicals and made with fresh tea leaves picked at their peak. Trust me, when the sun is shining and your day is going well it’s only natural you’re going to need something delicious to drink. Why not pick up a bottle of Pure Leaf Iced Tea? You just mind find your new favorite drink!

Bourbon is probably the main reason I would try this tea 😀
I need more boozy teas like this in my life. So yummy!
You had me at bourbon.!
This would be perfect for Easter brunch!
Now this is my kind of a sweet tea! Love peach and mint together-so perfect for the beginning of spring:)
Girl, you are speaking my language with this one! I love sweet tea, but I love mint sweet tea even more, and bourbon even more than that. This is going to be my best friend this summer. P.S. I love that you make sun tea! My mom used to always make sun tea growing up and I thought it was the best. I would love to try it again now.
This is the only way to get me to drink a sweetened tea! Bourbon, peaches and mint! Fabulous combination.
Oh my this looks amazing and a perfect cocktail for the mint growing in our yard!
I’ve never understood real sweet tea, but this I could totally be down with. Just the right hint of sweetness with a bourbon infusion…love it.
I want to drink this then slather it all over some good bbq. Super yummy!
