Welcome to the first day of The Twelve Boozy Days of Christmas!
For the next twelve days I will showcase some fun, festive and BOOZY (of course!) Christmas and Winter inspired drinks. These drinks will be perfect for any Holiday party or family gathering. If any of you have a crazy family I know a few boozy drink recipes will come in handy…. 😉
Day one brings us a festive Candy Cane Martini recipe. Not only does it taste great but it looks great too! Obviously it’s heavy on the mint flavor and packs a nice little punch by incorporating only two ingredients – vodka and peppermint schnapps. So with an ingredient list so short and so full of alcohol I wouldn’t recommend drinking too many 🙂
Candy Cane Martini
Yield: 1 cocktail
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 0 minutes
Total Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1-1/2 ounce vodka
- 1 teaspoon peppermint schnapps
Directions:
Mix all ingredients with ice in a shaker. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Option: Garnish with small candy cane or create a candy cane "rimmer" with crushed candy canes.
