Ginger Snap Side Car

Welcome to day five of The Twelve Boozy Days of Christmas!

Ginger Snap Side Car by Nutmeg Nanny

I had never tasted St. Germain Liquor before I made this drink.  I was leery. A liquor derived from the elderflower blossoms….would it be good? It is. Tasty and delicious. Mixed with all wonderful flavors of cognac, gin, ginger and apple juice this cocktail is perfect for keeping you in the holiday spirit 🙂

Last night I went into the city and saw the Christmas tree. It was so beautiful. Even thought there were hundreds of people and I was packed in like a sardine, it was still fun 🙂

I used to get white hot chocolate from dunkin donuts all the time in college. And then I realized just how much it was clogging my arteries. Sigh. This sounds like the perfect thing to sip on a cold winter night.
