I took a break for a  couple of months but I’m happy to report I’m back for this month’s Secret Recipe Club!  Lucky for me I got a GREAT blog to work with – Dinner, Dishes, and Desserts.  After looking over all the recipes I finally settled on making homemade Nutella.  I have been wanting to make it for a long time but somehow never got around to it.

I changed very little about the recipe and was beyond impressed! By impressed I mean I started shoveling it into my mouth until I had to put it away for fear I would gain a million more pounds.  It was that delicious!

I made this, and it was absolutely delicious!! More flavorful than the store bought stuff. The key is to roast the hazelnuts while constantly stirring for an awful long time until they smell intensely of hazelnuts. And I have enough to last me a looooong time!
