Oreo Pops

These Oreo pops are super simple to make and are perfect for getting kids into the kitchen. Dipped in white chocolate and decorated with tons of sprinkles.

Happy Friday!

Sadly while most of America is celebrating the weekend I’m hanging my head in sadness because I have to go back to work today.

Sigh.

I guess until I win the lottery (I should probably go buy a ticket…) I will have to work.

Last weekend I decided to celebrate my weekend off by making these Oreo pops.

I was bored and spied a package of Oreo’s sitting on my counter.

Why not shove them on a stick, cover them in chocolate, and throw some sprinkles on them?

Sounded good to me.

I made cake balls once before.

This is way easier and a heck of a lot less messy.

Trust me.

Prep Time 30 minutes
Servings 25 cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 package double stuff Oreo’s
  • 1 package white candy melts
  • Sprinkles
  • Popsicle sticks

Instructions

There are two ways to make the oreo pops:

  • 1 – Gently slide the stick into the cream center. Be gentle or you might crack the cookie
  • 2 – Gently remove one side to the cookie, dip the end of a popsicle stick into the chocolate, press into the middle of the cookie cream, and add the cookie top back onto the cookie. Let it rest for a few minutes to let the chocolate set.
  • I tried both methods and I found the first to work best for me. However, the choice is yours.
  • Gently dip cookies into chocolate, or spoon and spread the chocolate onto the cookie. I found it easier to spoon and spread but it's up to you.
  • After your cookies are covered in chocolate dip one side into sprinkles, lay on parchment paper, and let harden.

Thank you for the idea. I plan to make these for a high school graduation party in the school colors. The grad loves Oreo's which is WIN-WIN!
