There are many things to do in Ohio, but one of the best is to visit Tony Packo’s in Toledo, Ohio. The food is delicious and packed full of spice. Plus, the signed buns on the walls are a super fun decoration!

Name: Tony Packo’s
Food: Hungarian Hot Dogs, chili, pickles & peppers
Where: Toledo, OH
Website: Tony Packo’s
My Opinion: Awesome!
Growing up in Northwest Ohio, you know Tony Packo’s.
Growing up in my house, you definitely know Tony Packo’s. Why do you ask? Oh, it has something to do with the fact that my father is a massive fan of M.A.S.H., and the character Corporal Maxwell Q. Klinger mentions Tony Packos only in almost every episode.
Now, here is the skinny on the restaurant. Its walls are decorated with signed hot dog buns, and everyone from Rosanne Barr, Mr. T, and Rick Astley has signed them. There are hundreds of buns.
The best part is going around and seeing all the odd people who have visited this Toledo landmark restaurant.
When you visit Tony Packo’s, you order cafeteria style unless it’s after 4 pm, and then they have waiters and waitresses tending the tables.

I tend to order Tony Packo’s Feast because I like a little of everything.
One cup of chili, cabbage roll, and one Hungarian dog with mustard, onion, secret sauce, and cheese. Delicious!
My other half loves their chili mac, and I agree, it’s pretty awesome.
Oh, and a trip would not be complete without an order of deep-fried pickles. Does it sound gross? It’s not. I don’t know if that won you, but I swear it’s good.

So are you wondering what a Hungarian hot dog is?
Well, I think it tastes like Polish sausage cut in half and grilled on the flat top. It has a nice casing, but the meat is far better than the traditional Polish sausage.
I know I’m not great at explaining food, but can we agree that it’s excellent and you should all run off to Toledo to try it?
Ok, now onto the pictures! Finally, if you want to start this hot dog signing trend in your kitchen, you can!

I hope you all enjoyed learning about Tony Packo’s. If my readers have eaten at Tony Packo’s, feel free to leave your opinion. I would love to hear what you think!

Oh Tony Packo’s! Here is my Jamie Farr story…I was at the Toledo zoo when I was little, with my parents and brother. We saw Jamie Farr walk right past us and my brother said..”Hey! Mr. MASH!” and Jamie Farr looked back and waved at us! Hooray for memories, lol. I too love a good Packo’s hot dog…I had a hankerin’ the other day on my way to school and had to stop at the little mini Tony Packo’s restaurant in Anderson’s!
