There are many things to do in Ohio, but one of the best is to visit Tony Packo’s in Toledo, Ohio. The food is delicious and packed full of spice. Plus, the signed buns on the walls are a super fun decoration!

Name: Tony Packo’s
Food: Hungarian Hot Dogs, chili, pickles & peppers
Where: Toledo, OH
Website: Tony Packo’s
My Opinion: Awesome!
Growing up in Northwest Ohio, you know Tony Packo’s.
Growing up in my house, you definitely know Tony Packo’s. Why do you ask? Oh, it has something to do with the fact that my father is a massive fan of M.A.S.H., and the character Corporal Maxwell Q. Klinger mentions Tony Packos only in almost every episode.
Now, here is the skinny on the restaurant. Its walls are decorated with signed hot dog buns, and everyone from Rosanne Barr, Mr. T, and Rick Astley has signed them. There are hundreds of buns.
The best part is going around and seeing all the odd people who have visited this Toledo landmark restaurant.
When you visit Tony Packo’s, you order cafeteria style unless it’s after 4 pm, and then they have waiters and waitresses tending the tables.

I tend to order Tony Packo’s Feast because I like a little of everything.
One cup of chili, cabbage roll, and one Hungarian dog with mustard, onion, secret sauce, and cheese. Delicious!
My other half loves their chili mac, and I agree, it’s pretty awesome.
Oh, and a trip would not be complete without an order of deep-fried pickles. Does it sound gross? It’s not. I don’t know if that won you, but I swear it’s good.

So are you wondering what a Hungarian hot dog is?
Well, I think it tastes like Polish sausage cut in half and grilled on the flat top. It has a nice casing, but the meat is far better than the traditional Polish sausage.
I know I’m not great at explaining food, but can we agree that it’s excellent and you should all run off to Toledo to try it?
Ok, now onto the pictures! Finally, if you want to start this hot dog signing trend in your kitchen, you can!

I hope you all enjoyed learning about Tony Packo’s. If my readers have eaten at Tony Packo’s, feel free to leave your opinion. I would love to hear what you think!

I remember seeing this place on TV once. I thought it was cool that they had all those signed hot dog buns.
I want some of that chili mac!!
The food looks amazing! Especially that chili mac and that Hungarian hot dog! YUM! I’ve never heard of the place! I wonder why the buns don’t get moldy?!
All the food looks great but I want that cabbage roll!
What a fun place! I want some chili!
The chili mac looks amazing! Is it similar to Cincinnati chili? Oooh, I could go for some of that!
The food looks tasty – and what a fun time!
Wow. I actually want to try this… and I hate hot dogs. But I think that Hungarian dog might sway my opinion.
It all looks soooo good….
Awesome dishes, I would love that chili mac or the cabbage roll, yum!
I just realized they were signing real buns–not ceramic!
